How We're Making Positive Change with Green Partner Verdn

Moon and Verdn have teamed up to support the planet. What does this mean for you as a loyal customer?  

Put simply, Verdn takes environmental action whenever you shop with us. Each time a reusable bottle or lunch bag is sold on our website, we plant five trees on your behalf. 

Verdn works alongside Eden Restoration Projects who reforest communities throughout Africa. Mangrove trees are planted in coastal villages around Madagascar, Kenya and Mozambique. 

Mangrove trees are highly efficient at storing greenhouse gasses. In places like Madagascar, up to 90% of their original forests have been destroyed, displacing entire animal species and removing the community’s ability to live off the land. 

Mangrove trees also act as fisheries and protect ecosystems that could be damaged by rising sea levels. Seventy-five per cent of animals found in Madagascar can't be found anywhere else on the planet.

The Eden Restoration Project also trains locals to plant new trees. This provides villages with a consistent income to provide for their families and invest in protecting their forests from being destroyed.
