- Is the flask 100% leakproof?
Yes. When the screw lid is in the closed position, the flask is 100% leakproof.
- Is it also suitable for hot drinks like coffee?
Absolutely! Double walled Stainless Steel is a great material for hot coffee without spoiling the taste. It is also very easy to clean the coffee stains away.
- Are there any other lids available?
There is currently only a screw lid available. But if this product is well received, we will develop new lids.
- Will the Plastic-Free lid fit my other Moon Bottles?
No. The Plastic-Free lid will only fit on the Recycled Flask.
- Where are the products dispatched from?
All products are personalised and dispatched from Stirling, UK.
As a Maths & Science teacher, Lynette heard first-hand all the worries her students had with climate change.
Moon Bottles was setup to help spread their message.
The Problem:
Unfortunately, many eco products don't last long and need replacing after a couple of months.
These eco brands also expect their customers to either pay through the roof, accept a lower performance product and/or deal with overseas-based customer service.
"Moon Bottles" was going to be different.

Moon have partnered with ClimatePartner to measure the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) of our products. In doing so, we’ve been able to set long term targets in reducing these product’s overall carbon footprint and financially supporting a certified climate action project. We are committed to collaborating with you, our loyal Mooners, to be as transparent as possible about our commitments and looking at innovative ways to reduce our overall environmental impact.

- Moon contributes to small, local charities on an ongoing basis. We have donated over 500 bottles to schools, businesses and non-profit organisations.

As part of our promise to be better, we're formulating a Carbon Management Plan with the intent to reduce our overall carbon emissions. We know the Product Carbon Footprint of the Moon bottles and mugs and are strategising ways we can further reduce emissions.
OUR GOALS:
- Implement a Carbon Management Plan with a three-year strategy to minimise our product’s carbon footprint and continue supporting credible projects.
- Obtain certification to produce mugs made from recycled stainless steel.
- Design and release a ‘plastic free’ bottle in 2025.
- Calculate the Product Carbon Footprint of the Moon food flask and lunch bag.
- Measure fossil fuel use during the manufacturing process and work towards finding a more sustainable source of production. Our factory currently uses renewable energy for its electrical source, so we are working together in other ways to make production more sustainable.
- Continue working with environmentally responsible shipping companies.
- Replace the biodegradable inner bags of the Moon bottle with something compostable.
- Commit to sourcing 100% recycled materials to make Moon products and packaging.
- Continue to release products that replace single-use plastics, contain no toxic chemicals, and are built to last a lifetime.

Returns
We accept returns for any non-personalised products within 30 days. You must return items in their original packaging and in the same condition as when you received them. Send us an email here to arrange your refund. Personalised product are non-refundable. However, if the reason for your return is based on a faulty product, your purchase will be covered under the lifetime guarantee.
