Yes. When the lid is in the closed position, the mug is 100% leakproof.
- How do i know if the lid is in the closed position?
The mug is unsealed when the lid is in the pressed-down position. This can take some getting used to, so there's text on the top moulding to remind you that "Down is Open". Sometimes it is best to think of the lid as a plunger, where the water is let through when the plunger is down.
